What is ACM?

The Association for Computing Machinery is a US-based international learned society for computing. It was founded in 1947 and is the world's largest scientific and educational computing society. ACM brings together computing educators, researchers, and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources, and address the field's challenges. As the world’s largest computing society, ACM strengthens the profession's collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and recognition of technical excellence. ACM supports the professional growth of its members by providing opportunities for life‐long learning, career development, and professional networking.

TINT ACM Student Chapter

Student Chapters provide unique opportunities for networking, mentoring and bonding over common interests. They provide support both within the student community and to local communities outside the institution. TINT ACM student Chapter incepted in 2020 is committed to creating a vibrant and extensive platform where students can gain exposure to a variety of concepts and expertise that the computing industry has to offer under one hood.

About Institute

Techno International Newtown, formerly Known as Techno India College Of Technology(TICT), is an engineering college in West Bengal, India. It is the seventh and youngest college established by the Techno India Group. The college is located on 5 acres (20,000 m2) of land in the Megacity (New Town) area of Rajarhat, North 24 Parganas. It is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology(formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology) and its courses are approved by All India Council of Technical Education.
